Must Have:
- 5+ years demonstrated, hands-on experience making accessibility improvements to web applications and PDF's
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro
- Expert knowledge of AODA legislation, WCAG2.0/2.1 Guidelines and A/AA/AAA Conformance Levels.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change
- Strong willingness & aptitude to learn and master new programs/ software/ skills
Our client, a leading packaged good company in the GTA, who is seeking an Accessible Document Design Consultant to ensure PDF's are AODA compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for converting small, medium and complex PDF's to be AODA Compliant
- Help to get external websites AODA compliant
- Build source document templates to generate accessible documents.
- Improve development and testing processes, methodology, tools, and best practices to ensure inclusive design and accessibility practices are adopted.
