* Ability to maintain an approved supply base. * Preparation of RFQ packages * Analysis of supplier quotations * Recommend sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, delivery and financial stability * Negotiation of all commercial aspects of material / component, indirect and services purchases. * Drive supplier cost savings through on-going negotiations. * Support program launches through participation in the PDP process * Maintain purchasing records, process internal e-requisitions and issue Purchase Orders Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Education
Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Business Administration required * Electronics Engineering an asset * PMAC certification an asset as required.
* Minimum of 3 -5 years purchasing experience required * Automotive purchasing experience considered an asset.
