Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Staffing Firm is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to work for our clients in Dartmouth. This will be a six month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
•Ensure the accuracy and completeness of client/file information within the database
•Draft and prepare correspondence including pleadings, Affidavits.
•Closely manage carious deadlines including courts, lawyers, and financial institutions;
•Regular contact and interaction with service providers, such as bailiffs, court officials, property managers, and legal agents
•Provide file lawyer with status information updates and prepare for and attend regular file review meetings
•Other Duties as requested

Qualifications
•Graduate of a Paralegal diploma or equivalent experience
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word. Experience with Document Management is an asset.
•Excellent transcription and proof reading skills
•Be highly organized and detail oriented
•Strong ability to manage high-volume work and prioritize multiple deadlines
•Critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to make judgment calls;
