The Presstran Operating Systems (POS), Quality Management Systems. (QMS) Co-ordinator works to develop, implement, maintain and improve POS, IATF16949 and other quality related systems.
Co-ordinates and leads activities related to POS, Mafact and IATF-16949 systems implementation and maintenance in order to maintain systems and procedures to current versions of the standard. 2. Follows up closure of IATF-16949 internal audit CARS. 3. Schedules, performs and analyses internal audits and makes recommendations to improve systems. 4. Schedules, performs and analyses second party audits and makes recommendations to improvement Systems. 5. Facilitates, assists and provides training in problem-solving and other quality techniques/Quality Systems Training. 6. Leads Layered Process Audit System and CAR follow up. 7. Assists in the analysis and preparation of the Management Review process 8. Develops computer related systems (databases, etc.) to systematize Q.A. processes and systems. 9. Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of ISO14001 systems and processes. 10. Maintains and analyses Quality related KPIs 11. Leads Document & Record Control System for the plant. 12. Performs regular review of customer web sites, customer score cards and customer CSR's. 13. Flags and performs gap analysis on all customer CSR's, facilitates the implementation of CSR's. 14. Keeps work area clean and neat. 15. Abides by all plant health, safety and environmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 16. Follows and adheres to requirements of current customer quality and environmental management systems Standards. 17. Frequently search customer web sites or other sources of information to receive and communicate Customer requirements to department managers or designate for review. 18. Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge and Education
1. University or post-secondary graduate with a technical and/or mathematics degree and/or CQE and/or specific IATF-16949 implementation experience. 2. Must possess automotive quality and/or engineering experience. 3. Must possess extensive knowledge of IATF-16949 and related standards (e.g. ISO14001) with implementation experience. 4. Certified Lead Auditor with knowledge of quality assurance procedures and documentation. 6. Skill gained by experience - practical Q.A. systems implementation.

EQUIPMENT and/or PRODUCT FAMILIARITY: Equipment: PC, telephone, photocopier, various measuring instruments, etc. Software: Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, Customer web sites, etc.
RESPONSIBILITY AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The Co-ordinator works with all departments on the development, implementation and maintenance of POS, IATF-16949 and related quality systems. Tracking and analyzing information based on internal audits and other POS performance indicators as required with the objective of making recommendations for system changes to improve organizational performance. The Co-ordinator works in an office environment but may be exposed to elements such as temperature and noise during time spent in the plant.
