THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales administrative assistant provides administrative and operational support to the sales team.
This is a remote position but you must be located in Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist sales teams in achieving sales outcomes and goals by providing logistical and administrative support
- Provide support in carrying out dedicated sales activities and promotions to help meet sales targets
- Organize and plan for sales meetings, conferences, and seminars
- Prepare quotes and invoices for the sales team
- Coordinate client’s software licence renewals with the sales team and suppliers
- Ensure that the information regarding opportunities for new sales and renewals is up to date in the CRM
- Compile and update clients, leads and sales files in CRM
- Generate sales reports and sales forecasts from the CRM
- Coordinate participation in industry events
- Assist sales team with travel arrangements
- Assist the administrative team with peer-review of sales and marketing related documents
- Replace the Administrative Assistant & Accounting Clerk during vacation periods
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High school or college diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage and complete large numbers of tasks and assignments.
- Must be located in Canada
- Must have strong organisational skills as well as attention to detail
- Must be able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent English communication skills (bilingualism is an asset)
