The Auto Mechanic isresponsible for the UPS vehicle fleet maintenance.
Repairing all UPSdiesel, propane and gasoline vehicles
Operating vehicleswith standard (manual) transmission
Ensuring all vehiclesare maintained regularly and in a timely manner
Wearing a UPS AutoMechanic uniform and adhering to the UPS Appearance Guideline (Men must reportto work clean shaven on a daily basis. Neat, trimmed mustache is allowed)
Ability to lift up to70 lbs. unassisted
Ability to drivestandard (manual) transmission
Availability to worknights, Monday to Friday
Ability to work in afast-paced environment
Ability to work in awarehouse environment and occasionally outdoors
Possession ofessential trade tools and equipment
Possession of a cleandriver’s abstract (obtained no earlier than 30 days prior to submitting anapplication) showing no accident records for the last 3 years as well as notraffic violation records for the last 12 months. Maximum acceptable number ofviolations that does not fall within the above mentioned period is 2.
Valid310T and/or 310S certificate/s (license/s)
